The structure of trees consists on branches that split into thinner branches over and over. However, each branch is slightly different from the other. Based on this idea, photographs of trees are distorted using a system of duplication and size reduction within an invisible grid.

Parallel to this, sentences of an essay on creativity within limits and systems appear systematically on every page with changing font size and position within an invisible grid.

 

This project explores creativity within limits and systems both conceptually and practically.

The product is a saddle stitched booklet.
